Showcase For Dogs

Brags and Memorable Moments

At the Showcase For Dogs we always want to highlight those special moments enjoyed by the handlers and their dogs.  It may come in the form of winning first place at a trial, or simply having your dog perform that one special skill that brings the smile of success.

Owners can complete a "Brags and Memorable Moments" form and tell us about your victory.  We will then publish your accomplishments on the website for all to enjoy.

Alison Sulkowski and Levi

Alison Sulkowski and her dog, Levi, earned their first agility competition qualifying run on Sept 27, in a USDAA Jumpers run and with a first place! They also earned third place in three other runs that weekend!  Congratulations to Alison and Levi!

Pictured above is Lara Avery's, Ten.  Ten is proudly showing off his 2nd place ribbon from the AKC Obedience Classic - 2013 held in Orlando,Fl.  This is a national competition and to qualify a team must accumulate points from winning in local and regional competitions throughout the year.  Congratulations to Lara and Ten on this outstanding obedience achievement!

Pam Skinner and Oskar competed at Hilltown Hounds on October 12-13, fifteen months after his last trial, and following two ACL surgeries plus lots of rehab.  It took awhile to get their act together on Saturday, but they Q'd in the last run of the day - Snooker!   And on Sunday, they Q'd  in three out of four runs.  Even the non-Q runs had moments of beauty and/or humor.  Pam was thrilled with how well Oscar did and what a good boy he was.  Below is a photo of the happy couple.

Barbara Rogers and Carmen take first place in the North American Challenge at the DOCNA nationals.

** Jackson, owned by Marjorie Otterson, was our first VALOR dog.  The VALOR philosophy is working for Jackson.

** Kathy Steffens and Jamie were allstars at the Nationals!  They enjoyed 3 great days...were 6 for 9 and took home several placement ribbons.  Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment.

** Pamela Dods and Stella were "steller" in their very first agility run thrus.  Stella was totally attentive and completed the course cleanly.  A thrill to the heart of any agility handler.

** Linda Pickreign and Miss Lily achieved their very first "Q" for a clean colors run at their last trial.

**Barbara Rogers and Carmen earned their C-ATCH (CPE Agility Trial Championship) at a SCAT trial this spring.
